Avatar 2 marks end of 2019 filming with massive set photo
No, Avatar 2 still is not done shooting. But at \James Cameron’s sequel is one step nearer.
Avatar‘s official Twitter account shared with a photo of one of those movie’s massive sets to indicate the end of live-action filming to the entire year. (See, it is not all CGI!) The first sequel (of four to come) will explore the waters of the moon Pandora, and also the established photo shows off a craft called the Sea Dragon, described as”a huge mothership that carries a range of other sea-going craft.”
While this is one of the very first official sneak peeks at the Avatar sequels (where the first two are being taken concurrently ), it is not the first. Back in October, the Twitter accounts of the franchise shared another established photograph, featuring director Cameron filming what looks like some type of disaster. (A picture which, incidentally, calls to mind that the manager’s other former highest-ever-grossing blockbuster.)
Avatar 2 is scheduled for launch on Dec. 18, 2021, after many, many postponed launch dates. Cast members Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, and Zoe Saldana, amongst others, will soon be returning, with Vin Diesel Kate Winslet, and more joining the throw.
