Ariana Grande Phases a’Victorious’ reunion with Liz Gillies and Matt Bennett at her Atlanta Series
After having to cancel a show due to an illness, Ariana Grande came back to her Sweetener World Tour with a bang, staging a mini-reunion of her former Nickelodeon series Victorious in her Atlanta concert Tuesday night.
The day of the performance, Grande had hinted on Twitter that she was intending a stunt, saying,”Men I can not tell u why yet, but I am so excited for tonight. I have never felt this way. Goodbye.” The Victorious cast members she would later bring out included Dynasty star Elizabeth Gillies, who played with Jade.
Along With Grande, who played Cat, the group recreated their iconic karaoke variety from the”Freak the Freak Out” episode, singing”Give It Up!”
Proving the throw of Victorious can sing, as the show’s star Victoria Justice famously maintained, Grande also brought out celebrity Matt Bennett (who played with Robbie on the series ) to sing his own character’s song”I Think You’re Swell” live in front of the massive audience in the State Farm Arena.
The recently reprinted 2020 Grammys nominee finished the night by calling it”the most unique show to me yet,” telling Gillies and Bennett she loves them eternally.
