Anne Having an E Factory: Creator teases possible finale feature Movie, thanks fans
Moira Walley-Beckett isn’t completed with the story of Anne. Before today it was announced that the Netflix/CBC series Anne With an E will end after season 3, which aired in Canada and is expected to fall on Netflix in January. Fans were quick to talk about their devastation on networking\. Twitter was become a topic on by the information together with all the hashtag #renewannewithanE\. But we may find out more of Anne after all.
“The fan support and enjoy Anne with an E is overwhelming, heartening, and wonderful — I really like these Kindred Spirits,” Walley-Beckett stated in an announcement to EW. “This proves to me just how much this show has linked to a diverse audience around the world and how meaningful it is to everybody. I am proud of those 3 seasons. Creating Anne with an E has been an wonderful experience — it had been my heart job and I gave myself into it. I’m so grateful to my outstanding cast, crew, writers, and directors for passionately bringing my vision to life”

While Netflix is usually the location where network displays get stored (Lucifer, Designated Survivor, YOU), the streaming service pinpointed One Day at a Time earlier this year, which was saved by Pop TV. So, might we see Anne again after the show ends?
“I will miss this show forever and a day. That being said, I would really like to write an AWAE finale feature movie…” Walley-Beckett added.
It, streamers and networks — get on it!
Anne With an E is a reimagining of this turn-of-the-century Anne of Green Gables book series by Candian writer L.M. Montgomery. Starring Amybeth McNulty, the story follows a 13-year old orphan girl who’s sent to live with elder siblings on Prince Edward Island.
The series built an avid following as it proved to the streamer in 2017 in conjunction with the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation). But its run as a TV series will end with a third and last period.
“We have been thrilled to deliver the quintessentially Canadian story of Anne with an E to audiences around the world,” the CBC and Netflix stated in a joint statement acquired by EW. “We’re thankful to manufacturers Moira Walley-Beckett and Miranda de Pencier and to the gifted cast and crew for their unbelievable work in sharing Anne’s narrative with a new creation. We expect fans of the series love this last year as far as we all do, and that it brings a satisfying conclusion to Anne’s journey.”
